Skrítið...

...hvað sálin í mér er alltaf lengi að rata aftur heim frá útlöndum...

Nú er víst kominn vetur á Íslandi, skítkalt úti, laufin falla sem óðast og sólin skín lágt á himni og beint í augu manns, svo maður er skítnervus í umferðinni.

I just came back from Bermuda. NJ is still not terribly cold, however, since we are used to warmer weather we are complaining.
I love the story about the old lady and her Grandson....it must be Icelandic....in any case I have many women in my Icelandic family that would have reacted just the same.
I am so happy for you that you had a good time in Denmark. I bought Roseta Stone Danish lessons....very good, I may be able to talk to my Grandchild in Danish after all:)....that is if I am dilligent and study hard....it's the acent that gets me, always want to use the Icelandic way to say the word if they are the same spelled out.

Thanks, Móa.
In fact it was a bit the same with me, I mixed up things a bit in the start, except it was not the pronounciation, but the use of words. I wanted to use some words from English, instead of the Danish ones. But of course, in fact this is what the Danes do themselves, to a far too great extent. We Icelanders are much better at inventing new words in our own language than they are.
